Library

Our library holds approximately 9,000 volumes, including academic journals. The collection focuses mainly on Japanese, Chinese, and East Asian studies, with an emphasis on humanities-related materials that support research and scholarly inquiry.

In addition, visitors can access about 10,000 volumes from the EFEO (École française d’Extrême-Orient) Kyoto collection, which primarily covers religion and the history of Japanese art. These materials offer valuable resources for both specialized research and general study.

We provide a quiet and comfortable environment where visitors can take their time exploring a wide range of materials.
