Progetto di una mostra sui rapporti tra Italia e Giappone tra il 1860 e il 1890, da tenersi a Osaka nel 2025 (luogo e data da definire).

Pubblicazione del manoscritto inedito intitolato “Peregrinazioni in Estremo Oriente”, di Ugo Pisa, segretario della Regia Legazione d’Italia in Giappone dal 1870 al 1872, con introduzione e note al testo. Il memoriale manoscritto include interessanti testimonianze di viaggi in Cina e nel Giappone settentrionale.

Pubblicazione dell’intero testo del “Giornale di un viaggio nel Nord del Giappone”, scritto tra il 1868 e il 1869 dal commerciante italiano Giacomo Farfara, con traduzione delle testimonianze giapponesi legate a questo personaggio.

Pubblicazione di una monografia sulla storia delle relazioni italo-giapponesi tra il 1860 e il 1880, con particolare attenzione alle figure dei primi diplomatici e dei commercianti di uova dei bachi da seta.
