A catalogue from an exhibition of the private collection of Robert Duquenne, a former member of the Ecole Française d’Extrême-Orient, organized with the Japan Foundation, Kyoto Office. The prints and paintings were objects of worship related to temples and shrines, and were collected principally at flea-markets in Kyoto over the years. The volume is published in association with Ecole Française d’Extrême-Orient.
